It depends on the category and factory. Soft goods often start at 300–500 units; CNC and small hardware at 100; injection molded products usually 1,000–3,000 because of tooling cost. We tell you the realistic MOQ early in the brief stage, not after you commit.
We typically charge a service fee per project, plus a small percentage on production value. The exact structure depends on scope (full turnkey vs partial). All fees are disclosed upfront. No hidden margin on the factory invoice.
Yes. We sign mutual NDAs before sharing any drawings, and require the factory to sign too. For sensitive products we split tooling across two suppliers and avoid disclosing the full bill of materials to any single party.
From signed brief to first container: typically 12–20 weeks for new products requiring tooling, 6–10 weeks for private-label variations of existing factory products. We give a Gantt-style timeline with checkpoints so you always know what's next.
Yes — and we encourage it before mass production. We arrange the visit, provide translation, and walk you through our QC checkpoints. If you can't fly in, we do a live video walkthrough instead.
